The School of Engineering of National Chung Cheng University held the "Asia-Pacific Workshop on Intelligent Engineering(APWIE)" from October 28 to November 1, several renowned scholars from the Asia-Pacific region, including Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and South Korea, were invited to participate in a five-day academic exchange event.
This workshop encompasses diverse fields such as machinery, electrical machinery and communications, chemical engineering, and information engineering. It promotes international academic exchanges through a series of special lectures and in-depth discussions. During the event, scholars from various countries shared the latest research findings and innovative technological developments, showcasing the Asia-Pacific region’s significant achievements in the field of smart engineering.
Dr. Kenneth Chen, founder of the A1 Smart Factory Alliance, was invited by Professor Le Ngoc Tran and Professor Nguyen Duc Nam from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City(IUH), who were visiting Taiwan for the first time, to participate in this seminar. Professor Le Ngoc Tran presided over the seminar on the 28th, focusing on the research theme "Applying smart factory technology for education at the Industrial University of HCMC ." He also shared relevant information about the A1 Smart Factory Alliance. The Alliance is honored to have been recognized during Professor Le's speech, and IUH is a key partner of the A1 Smart Factory Alliance in Vietnam. We look forward to more fruitful cooperation in the future.
