Dr. Kenneth Chen, the founder of the A1 Smart Factory Alliance, delivered a speech at the "Vietnam-Taiwan Sustainable Green Technology Forum" on September 11, 2024, discussing "Low Carbon Smart Enterprises" and introducing the A1 Smart Factory Alliance. A1 Smart Factory Alliance specializes in offering enterprises solutions for digital transformation DX、smart manufacturing SM、 sustainability transformation SX and artificial intelligence AI.
The A1-Footprint sustainability platform, launched by the alliance, is a comprehensive management tool that can instantly manage the carbon footprint of corporate and products. Operates independently or integrates with ERP systems and AI applications for sustainable and digital optimization.
Dr. Chen also shared the case- A1-Footprint Implemented on Anchor Fasteners Vietnam.
By importing relevant product usage data into the platform, the corresponding data can be automatically exported, achieve real-time Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) and real-time Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) tracking.
To achieve the United Nations "Sustainable Development Goals" and long-term net-zero emission targets, need to change approach. The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Support Center 2 (SMEDEC 2) is collaborating with the China Productivity Center (CPC) to host the "2024 Vietnam-Taiwan Sustainable Green Technology Forum". The forum aims to promote dialogue and cooperation on sustainable activities and energy efficiency. It will facilitate the sharing of opinions on the circular economy, automation and green productivity, and provide a framework for reducing environmental impact while promoting productivity and resilience, providing opportunities for learning from global energy saving experiences and explore the newest sustainable technologies among Taiwanese and Vietnamese Small and Medium Enterprises.
