Dr. Kenneth Chen, founder of A1 Smart Factory Alliance, has been invited to contribute to the course design discussion for the newly launched "Smart Manufacturing Course" at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City(IUH) in Vietnam. Except for the professors present, the other attendees are industry experts, with Dr. Chen being the only foreign participant.
In 2023, Dr. Chen donated smart manufacturing system (A1 Smart System) software to the IUH. The A1 Smart System is a comprehensive solution that integrates ERP, APS, MES, SFC, EIP, CRM, SCM, PLM, BI, AI, ESG, and other functions. It also features a built-in WebLCA footprint database module to assist enterprises in managing and optimizing various smart manufacturing-related matters.
There are 10,000 new students in IUH this year, and teachers are very busy. A course that everyone discussed enthusiastically, and industry experts watched Dr. Chen's recent interview video, "Taiwanese Exec. Leads Alliance To Help Vietnam's Factories Go Digital," which resonated deeply and was very gratifying.
"This trip to Vietnam has achieved fruitful results. Everyone agrees very much with the concept of the A1 Smart Factory Alliance, and the number of members continues to increase. I hope to have more results to share with you as soon as possible." Dr. Chen said.
