To expedite the digital transformation and modernization of conventional manufacturing into smart manufacturing, the International Trade Administration ,Ministry of Economic Affairs(TITA) and the A1 Smart Factory Alliance—a key industry innovator within the Taiwan External Trade Development Council(TAITRA)—On July 11th, the TAITRA Kaohsiung office hosted the seminar "From Digital Transformation to Smart Enterprise", which saw active participation from over 70 distinguished companies.

The event stood out for its high-caliber lineup, featuring 34 corporate chairmen and general managers, 4 deputy general managers, 5 special assistants to the chairman, 16 senior executives, and 12 professors, and TITA Kaohsiung office - Vice Director Tian-Fu Zhang; Kaohsiung Importers and Exporters Chamber of Com(KIEA) - Chairman Qing-Tang Xie; Taiwan Instruments United Association - Chairman Wen-Zheng Luo,came to give guidance.
Dr. Martin Sun delivered an lecture titled "Building Intelligence: A New Business Model for Enterprises."His career spans significant roles at renowned American corporations such as 3M, AMP, AUO, and Compal, and includes his tenure as the former President of Wacom Taiwan. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Racing Point Industry of the JaoYeou Group, and is a partner of the A1 Smart Factory Alliance,It was introduced by Professor Qing-Zhang Li, CEO of National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology's(NKUST) EMBA and Director of the Department of Asset Management.
Dr. Martin Sun shared that through the integration of Smart systems, the traditional screw industry has been completely transformed into a "smart enterprise" that drives the manufacturing process with artificial intelligence. He also shared the "transformation methods" for the Racing Point Industry, such as reliable information platforms, information applications designed according to the situation, maintaining standardized information updates, brainstorming decisions, ensuring diligent follow-up, and rapid execution.

Additionally, he is the esteemed founder of the A1 Smart Factory Alliance."
Professor Bor-Tsun Lin, winner of the first Industry-Academic Master Award and director of the Metal Products Development Technology Research Center of the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, cordially delivered the opening speech.
Dr. Chen explained the six foundations of digital transformation, how to integrate existing independent systems including ERP, business intelligence and artificial intelligence applications, existing independent systems and other functions to master real-time operational information, efficiently arrange and integrate multiple systems to meet diverse business process requirements. His method can be quickly synchronized and customized In addition, he developed a multi-language platform suitable for employees of different nationalities and has been effective in manufacturing, services, IC design, biotechnology, logistics, and research and educational institutions. implementation.

During the event, TITA and TAITRA's "Post-Epidemic Special Budget Project" was highlighted as a strategic measure to support small and medium-sized enterprises. The program aims to improve their digital capabilities through comprehensive coaching, strengthen digital marketing skills, utilize smart technologies, cultivate overseas customers, and support the global expansion of the industry. This approach can diversify the market, improve international competitiveness, and initiate more overseas business opportunities.
