Martin Sun took over as chairman of Racing Point Industry.Co.,Ltd. on June 1, 2021.

The fastener sector is poised to emulate TSMC's success, transitioning towards an OEM-centric model. Meanwhile, Racing Point has carved out a niche for itself in the realm of technology, enhancing its manufacturing processes with significant value additions.

Racing Point Industry was founded at the end of 2009 for nearly 12 years. It is a domestic

small screw leading factory, Jau Yeou Industry has forged a strategic alliance with the world's premier construction power company, this collaboration has led to the establishment of a joint venture with HILTI, the renowned European brand in power tools, setting a new benchmark in the industry. It mainly produces construction fastener products, which are designed by HILTI and manufactured by Jau Yeou. The main products are HILTI’s patented construction self-tapping screws, in 2019, the company commenced mass production of high-value composite screws. This strategic move has propelled them to a leading competitive position in the construction markets across Europe and America.

Since assuming the role of General Manager at Racing Point four years ago, Dr. Martin Sun has not only established more ambitious business objectives but has also significantly enhanced the company's technical collaboration and industry partnerships with HILTI, as well as the improvement of internal personnel capabilities. Over the course of four years, he have successfully realized our ambition of achieving exponential growth in performance and sustained profitability.

Amidst the challenging market conditions brought on by COVID-19, he spearheaded the launch of a new composite screw factory at the end of August last year, this strategic initiative was aimed at securing a strong foundation for the company's resurgence and future growth. In June this year, he ascended to the esteemed position of chairman, receiving unanimous endorsement from the joint venture's Board of Directors. He is ready to take on greater responsibility and drive the company's continued growth and success.

Chairman Martin Sun is the first chairman of Chun Zu Machinery Industry, a famous domestic screw machinery factory, and the first generation founder of Jau Yeou Group. He is also the son of De-Nan Sun, the former chairman of the Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute(TIFI). Founded by his father in 1979, Jau Yeou Industry has grown to become a trailblazer in the screw manufacturing sector in Taiwan, consistently leading the industry with its commitment to excellence and innovation. After the passing of De-Nan Sun in 1999, the leadership baton was passed to Martin Sun's uncle, De-Ren Sun, who now serves as the esteemed Chairman of Jau Yeou Group. In addition to the joint venture Racing Point Industry, Jau Yeou Group also has JYR Aviation Components Co., Ltd., which is more involved in the aerospace industry.
